Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. seeks a highly motivated Specialist Electrician to support maintenance across the Midwest and southeastern United States.

The role requires handling inspection, repair, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, with travel within the region and beyond as needed. A strong background in high/low voltage systems and a proactive approach to reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with preferred technical school or college training.
• 5+ years of experience in petrochemical and manufacturing industries.
• Experience with low, medium and high voltage electrical equipment maintenance, startup or commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Perform and/or supervise inspection, repair, installation, troubleshooting, modification and maintenance of electrical equipment (motors, transformers, switchgear, relays).
• Support electrical reliability and maintenance across plants and facilities.
• Diagnose equipment issues and provide technical expertise for control system failures.
• Develop refurbishment procedures and oversee repair and spare parts replacement.
