Meta is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental health and safety programs across its sites. You will implement EHS policies, drive regulatory compliance, and partner with lab and process teams to embed safety into daily operations.

This role will manage a team of contractors and vendor-managed EHS professionals, travel up to 75%, and apply AI tools to optimize workflows and improve efficiency and quality while upholding ethical practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in EHS with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
• Experience with applicable state and local regulatory requirements
• Willingness to travel up to 75% within the region
• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field
• Professional certifications in Safety, Health, and Environment (CSP, CIH, CHMM, or similar)
• Experience in semiconductor, chemical processing, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact

Meta is seeking a motivated and experienced EHS Manager to lead and oversee the implementation and execution of Environmental Health and Safety programs This role will ensure regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and continuous improvement in EHS practices. You will oversee contractors and vendor-managed EHS professionals and collaborate closely with lab and process managers, safety engineers, and other stakeholders to promote safety and environmental stewardship practices.

• 7+ years of experience in EHS, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role, either managing reports directly or indirectly
• Experience with applicable state and local regulatory requirements
• Travel up to 75% within the region
• Experience communicating EHS policies, findings, and recommendations in writing and verbally to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field
• Professional certifications in Safety, Health, and Environment (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, or similar)
• Experience in semiconductor, chemical processing, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Demonstrated collaborator who builds lasting relationships across functions and levels
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Experience in semiconductor, chemical processing, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments is preferred
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
