Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Area EHSS Manager to lead occupational health, safety, environmental and sustainability across four Florida sites (Jacksonville, Orlando, Midway, and Cape Coral). You will supervise 3 direct EHSS Coordinators and report to the Regional EHSS Director, with 60-75% travel among sites.

Responsibilities include guiding EHS professionals, aligning with IPG EHS standards, driving incident investigations, and advancing a culture of safety beyond

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, science or engineering related fields or relevant experience.
• 5+ years in EHS and/or manufacturing with EHS responsibility.
• Excellent communication across functions to facilitate safety integration.
• Expert knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 regulations.
• Strong project and process safety management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Safety certifications (GSP, ASP, CSP, CIH) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent EHS presence across facilities and identify improvement areas with solutions.
• Partner with Area General Manager to ensure ownership at each site.
• Lead EHS professionals and site managers for full integration into IPG EHS standards.
• Participate in operating plans, strategic planning, and regulatory reporting.
• Supervise site EHS professionals across the region.
• Oversee onboarding of EHS professionals and managers.
• Oversee incident investigations and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Advise on implementing and auditing an innovative EHSS management system.
• Monitor EHSS metrics, compile reports, and guide safety culture evolution.
• Manage workers' comp, general liability, and automotive liability claims.
• Share best practices and drive regional implementation.
• Set region/site priorities and resourcing with Regional EHSS Director.
• Drive environmental compliance and sustainability project rollouts.
• Track permits and reduce environmental exposure; partner with ENV team.
• Develop sustainability reporting and scale initiatives across sites.
• Build and manage small teams; improve communication and project completion.
