Job summary

Amazon seeks a WHS Manager to drive a comprehensive safety program across North America, partnering with Operations to weave safety into daily work and reduce risk. You will lead incident investigations, metrics reviews, and staff development while building a high-performing WHS team.

Travel 50-70% and shifts may vary. Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in EHS/people management are required; Master’s degree and CSP certification preferred. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
• 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management
• Master’s degree preferred
• Certified Safety Professional preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee incident management and investigations across North America.
• Lead staff development, training, and performance monitoring for WHS teams.
• Partner with Operations leadership to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
