Qualifications
- Requires completion of four years of college in economic development, marketing or business administration.
- Three years of professional administrative experience in business or economic development.
- Prefers four+ years of admin experience in business development, marketing and stakeholder engagement; CRM experience valued.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional economic development planning and partnerships for Northeast Illinois.
- Promote Illinois as a premier location for investment, innovation, workforce development and job creation.
- Coordinate with business, government leaders and community stakeholders.
- Represent the agency at regional meetings and seminars.
- Travel as needed and supervise special economic development projects.
