Job summary

FXI is seeking a CDL-A truck driver to deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner. The role requires operating a tractor-trailer, performing drop-and-hook deliveries, and maintaining accurate logs and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; follow safety policies and procedures.
• Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections of truck/trailer.

Position Purpose:

Essential Duties:

• Drives products to customers utilizing tractor/trailer
• Drop and hook/ no touch freight on 95% of customers
• Maintains drivers' logs / ELD
• Maintain good housekeeping standards
• Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
• Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
• Pre/post-inspections truck/ trailer

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• Able to read, write and speak English
• Able to sit for 8 hours
• Must have a valid Class A CDL license
• Must have verifiable tractor-trailer experience - 3 years
• Must have a valid and clear driving record
• Must have a current, valid DOT Medical Card

Education / Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
