Job summary

Texas Oncology seeks a Dosimetry Supervisor to lead dosimetry staff across multiple Gulf Coast TX sites. The role collaborates with medical physicists and radiation oncologists to design and verify treatment plans, while ensuring QA and regional coverage.

The ideal candidate has seven+ years in dosimetry, holds a CMD and state license, and will guide education for new dosimetrists and students within a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in physical science and a graduate of a formal dosimetry program.
• At least seven years of direct dosimetry experience are required.
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) with a valid state radiation therapy license is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dosimetry staff across multiple sites and schedule coverage.
• Collaborate with medical physicist and radiation oncologist to design treatment plans.
• Oversee regional dosimetry operations and QA programs.
• Lead education and training for newly hired dosimetrists and students.
• Set SMART goals with the Chief Physicist and monitor dosimetry productivity.
