Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Associate District Manager to oversee a portfolio of eight to fifteen stores in the Minneapolis area. The role focuses on driving sales, profitability, and operational excellence while coaching Store Managers and supporting brand standards.

You will lead on-store teams, guide execution of merchandising and customer experience initiatives, and partner with District/HR teams to build strong talent pipelines. Travel within the market is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in multi-unit and store management within the retail industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience required.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with the natural pet retail industry is preferred.
• Ability to identify, motivate, and retain top talent to drive team success.

Responsibilities

• Drive district sales and profitability through customer experience and cost management.
• Ensure Chuck & Don’s/Kriser’s culture, pet nutrition education, and brand messaging are embedded in store operations.
• Coach Store Managers and teams to improve performance and customer service.
• Regular store visits to evaluate sales, merchandising, and service opportunities; address gaps.
