The Regional Discipline Leader shall perform duties in support of the Bridges & Structures discipline and region. Directs and manages Geographic Discipline Leaders within a specific region.

Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a Regional Discipline Leader who will be responsible for the professional, technical, management, marketing, administrative and financial aspects of the Bridge & Structures Discipline. The Regional Discipline Leader shall perform duties in support of the Bridges & Structures discipline and region. Directs and manages Geographic Discipline Leaders within a specific region.

From inspection and load rating of existing structures to the design of new complex structures, Colliers Engineering & Design is improving bridges while reducing the long-term cost of maintaining these critical assets. Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, managerial direction and guidance for the region to achieve established goals.
- Directs overall productivity, profitability, client satisfaction and quality of work.
- Responsible for discipline marketing and business development.
- Actively involved in the cross selling of all company services.
- Responsible for billings and collections.
- Works with the geographic discipline leaders on resource sharing and staffing needs.
- Responsible for regional training and staff development.
- Monitor staff utilization regularly and take corrective action if necessary.
- Complies with and ensures others compliance with all CED policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Health and Safety Program.
- Travels (via car or airplane) regularly to the various regions and offices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership and managerial experience in the industry with 10 or more years of Bridge Engineering experience.
- Professional licensure in area of expertise.
- Prior DOT experience is highly preferred.

- Communication- Possess and demonstrate the ability, skills, and initiative to exchange information effectively and efficiently.
- Program and Project Management- Possess and demonstrate the ability to lead effectively and efficiently, plan, organize and manage procedures, protocols and/or staff to achieve the desired results of specific projects and/or programs.
- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
