The American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Client Care Manager to lead a volunteer-driven team delivering disaster care services regionally and nationally. The role ensures adherence to policies, standards, and guidance while coordinating disaster cycles across readiness, response, and recovery.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience building and leading volunteer teams, plus strong communication and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building, mobilizing, leading, and developing volunteer teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Empower Volunteers: Lead and support a diverse volunteer team implementing disaster cycle services.
• Lead the Program: Implement disaster cycle services activities within the region or functional activities.
• Mission Capacity Building: Develop disaster volunteers and leaders to meet responsibilities across readiness, response, and recovery.
• Engage Community: Coordinate efforts to mobilize communities and engage partners.
• Manage in a Matrix: Build relationships with internal partners and volunteers.
• Know Your Communities: Act as the disaster subject matter expert within the region.
• Ready to Respond: Initiate and coordinate disaster relief operations in the region.
