Job summary

UFP Packaging, LLC seeks a Quality/CI Director to oversee the quality management system and lean initiatives across our plant network, guiding maturity and alignment with business objectives.

You will coach plant teams on ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, lead CI training, and provide high‑level data analysis to drive improvements. This role reports to Regional VPs and can be based at Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA. Strong leadership and change-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CQE Certification preferred or equivalent discipline body of knowledge.
• Minimum of five years of experience in Quality manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of ISO9001 QMS systems, and understanding of IATF 16949 & AIAG practices.
• Working knowledge of Quality Science applications.
• High-level understanding of lean concepts & applications.
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel/Word/Outlook/Access).

Responsibilities

• Oversee ISO9001 QMS and certification status.
• Lead standardization of quality management & lean systems.
• Support plant locations with CI training.
• Provide training materials for CI programs.
• Coach improvement projects and host regional CI meetings.
• Analyze data/metrics and recommend actions.
