Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Quality/CI Director to oversee the quality management and lean programs across 40+ plants, reporting to Regional VPs and driving continuous improvement to support our strategic objectives.

The role will be located at Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA with responsibility across multiple sites. You will guide ISO9001 compliance, lead CI initiatives, mentor site quality teams, and champion data-driven improvements using modern software and SCADA systems to elevate our

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of experience in Quality manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of ISO9001 QMS systems and IATF 16949/AIAG practices.
Quality science applications understanding and data-driven mindset.
Lean concepts understood with practical application.
Six Sigma Black Belt preferred; leadership experience at manager level.

Responsibilities

Oversees the overall quality management systems of the business segments and their impact on our business & customers.
Oversees the overall continuous improvement program for the business segment through standardized practices, training, meeting improvement objectives, and maturing systems.
Assist plant locations in maintaining ISO9001 compliance and sustaining certification status.
Provide training materials and coaching for CI programs and initiatives; mentor improvement projects.
Lead regional CI progress meetings and drive standardization across quality and lean systems.
