Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts is seeking a Regional Director to drive program quality and regional outcomes. You will lead Program Services staff, partner with schools and communities, and ensure alignment with the agency’s strategic goals.

You will supervise, coach, and train staff, build relationships with local partners, and oversee region-based programming to deliver high-impact mentoring services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of work experience, preferably in customer support, customer relationship management, human or social services.
• Proven people management experience and ability to lead teams.
• Ability to communicate with professionalism, enthusiasm, and empathy to large groups and individuals both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, onboard, and develop Program Services staff.
• Act as the subject-matter expert for all region-based programming questions.
• Develop deep, strong relationships with local partners to ensure strong program outcomes for youth.
• Manage escalations from staff with regard to procedural, clinical, and safety/risk management issues.
• Create a motivating, high-energy environment and coach staff accordingly.
• Regularly analyze performance metrics to identify best practices and opportunities for improvement.
