The ideal candidate for this position

The Regional Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance, compliance, and profitability of a cluster of Hilton and Marriott-branded hotels. This hands-on leadership role supports General Managers and their teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining brand standards, and achieving financial targets. The ideal candidate will have strong multi-brand experience, a collaborative leadership style, and a deep understanding of both Hilton and Marriott systems and expectations.

Primary responsibilities

Ownership & Corporate Communication

  • Serve as the primary liaison between ownership and the hotel operations teams.
  • Provide regular updates to ownership on performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Operations Leadership

  • Oversee daily hotel operations with property-level leadership across all properties, ensuring alignment with brand and company standards.
  • Support and guide General Managers in operational execution, problem-solving, and guest service excellence.
  • Conduct regular property visits to maintain visibility and provide real-time support.

Brand Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all properties meet or exceed Hilton and Marriott QA standards and inspection requirements.
  • Manage the implementation and follow-up of Property Improvement Plans (PIPs).
  • Monitor and enhance performance metrics on brand platforms (e.g. SALT, GSS, etc.).

Financial Performance

  • Monitor and analyze property-level financial results (ADR, RevPAR, GOP, NOI).
  • Working with above-property and property-level leadership to create and monitor annual budgets.
  • Collaborate with GMs and corporate team to develop budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Team Development & Leadership Support

  • Mentor and develop GMs and department heads, providing consistent coaching and feedback.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning at the property level.
  • Promote a high-performance, service-oriented culture across all hotels.

Guest Satisfaction & Service Delivery

  • Support properties in maintaining top-tier service scores and resolving escalated guest concerns.

Revenue & Sales Strategy Alignment

  • Work with property and centralized sales teams to optimize local market opportunities.
  • Support revenue management efforts by ensuring rate strategies are properly executed on-property.

Operational Standardization

  • Identify and implement operational best practices across all hotels to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Drive consistency in SOPs, reporting, and brand/program initiatives.
