Job summary

Devon Self Storage is seeking a Regional Director to oversee up to 20 locations in Wisconsin or Illinois, coaching store teams and partnering with the Director of Operations to drive policy adherence and operational excellence. The role emphasizes leadership, training, and cross-site collaboration.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with travel up to 50%, opportunities for growth, and a strong bonus program in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• Must reside in Wisconsin or Illinois or be willing to relocate.
• 3-5 years of related experience in self-storage or multi-unit management.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing multiple site locations with sales, profitability, and operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing store teams.
• Oversee P&L ownership, CAPEX planning and execution, revenue management, and portfolio growth.
• Set clear performance expectations and KPIs and coach leaders to sustain results.
• Provide real-time feedback and corrective coaching.
• Partner with store teams to identify trends and remove obstacles impacting KPI performance.
• Recruitment collaboration to interview and hire great people.
• Coach General Managers and Assistant General Managers through regular check-ins and performance reviews.
