Job summary

HHM seeks a Corporate Director of Engineering to lead a regional engineering program and the capital expenditure process across a large US portfolio. You will support property GMs and chief engineers to uphold brand standards and asset performance.

Based in Philadelphia with travel, you will recruit and develop engineers, manage budgets, ensure safety compliance, and drive energy efficiency through Earth View and related programs. A 10+ year hospitality engineering background is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in multi-property facility management, development, and construction in the hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar practice preferred and/or significant relevant experience.
• PM certifications (PMP and/or CCM) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with program requirements and HHM core values.
• Report and communicate all departmental initiatives and performance to executive-level corporate stakeholders and multiple ownership groups.
• Attend and/or conduct regular meetings with the Regional Engineering team to ensure continued program evolution and excellence.
• Oversee the annual planning of capital expenditure budgets across 200+ properties.
• Direct project management for critical, high-profile projects as requested by executive management.
• Negotiate with contractors and vendors to achieve best value for labor and materials.
