Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a Director of Construction to lead field operations from our Denver, CO area and to provide high‑level management across Texas, Colorado, and Arizona. You will guide Construction Managers, align with branch leadership, and drive safety and project execution for concrete repair and related services.

You will be responsible for hiring, training, and coordinating field teams while advancing project performance, budgeting, and client communication to support sales and project

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English communication and technical writing.
• Strong hands-on construction knowledge and understanding of project technical details.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management or related field, or significant relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 15+ years of experience in general construction with at least 5 years in a field management role at Superintendent level or above, or 8+ years with related degree.
• Experience running multiple projects simultaneously and managing various levels of field managers.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contract specifications; resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Construction Managers across the branch/region (Texas, Colorado, Arizona).
• Work with the Branch Manager and Division Managers to guide operations.
• Oversee branch and divisional field operations and resource planning.
• Hire and make employment decisions for branch field teams and management.
• Develop and implement CMD training programs for the branch.
• Budget for QA/QC and equipment training; ensure safety policies are followed.
• Engage in client communication to help close sales and ensure project alignment.
• Approve major equipment purchases for the branch and business line.
• Assist project teams with monthly progress reports, payment applications, and cost reports.
• Provide leadership to STRUCTURAL’s Safety 24/7 culture.
