Requires a Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation or related field and 2+ years in senior living, with strong communication, leadership, and data-informed improvement skills. This role features hybrid work and significant travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in senior living, senior services or serving special needs populations with experience supporting memory care and/or dementia-focused programming.
• Excellent communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills; ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

• Lead strategy for community life, wellness & memory care across a regional portfolio.

Reports all complaints made by residents/clients and/or families to the appropriate supervisors, reports all allegations of abuse, misappropriation of funds/resident property and/or any other corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state and local regulations and laws.Completes all annual education requirements timely, including but not limited to Compliance, Privacy, Security and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Conduct in the performance of their duties.Performs other duties as assigned.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or related fieldExperience: 2 plus years of experience in senior living, senior services or serving special needs populations with experience supporting memory care and/or dementia focused programmingSkills:Must have excellent communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
