Job summary

Silver Birch Living, LLC. is seeking a Regional Director of Clinical Services to oversee clinical teams across multiple Ohio communities. You will mentor Directors of Nursing & Wellness, strengthen clinical practices, and partner with Operations to deliver high-quality resident care.

The role requires active RN licensure, regional leadership experience, and regular travel to sites. You will drive regulatory readiness and implement training programs to improve care quality and compliance while

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Two+ years in a regional clinical leadership role; assisted living experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of assisted living regulations and standards.
• Experience coaching, mentoring and developing clinical leaders.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on guidance and regional oversight to multiple communities.
• Coach and mentor Directors of Nursing & Wellness to strengthen leadership.
• Deliver clinical direction and training to promote safe, consistent nursing services.
• Conduct community visits and clinical audits to identify and address gaps.
• Support regulatory readiness and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Oversee and facilitate the QMA Insulin Administration Program.
• Collaborate with Operations to improve clinical performance and outcomes.
• Travel regularly to assigned communities to mentor teams on-site.

We are seeking an experienced Regional Director of Clinical Services to support clinical teams across multiple communities. In this visible leadership role, you will mentor Directors of Nursing & Wellness, strengthen clinical practices, and partner with Operations to deliver consistent, high-quality resident care.

Your Impact

As the primary clinical resource for assigned communities, you will provide hands‑on guidance and regional oversight to help teams succeed. Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop clinical leaders: Coach and mentor Directors of Nursing & Wellness, building their confidence, knowledge, and leadership effectiveness.


• Strengthen resident care: Provide clinical direction, training, and support to promote safe, consistent nursing services.


• Monitor quality: Conduct regular community visits and clinical audits, identify concerns, and guide teams through improvement plans.


• Support regulatory readiness: Help communities maintain compliance with company standards and applicable state regulations, prepare for surveys, and address findings.


• Manage clinical risk: Review quality indicators, recognize emerging concerns, and support timely resolution.


• Lead specialized training: Oversee and facilitate the QMA Insulin Administration Program.


• Partner with Operations: Work closely with Regional Directors of Operations to address community needs and strengthen clinical performance.


• Travel Requirements: Regular travel to assigned communities, including overnight stays, is required. A consistent on‑site presence is essential to support clinical teams, mentor community leaders, and monitor quality of care.

Success in this role means capable, supported clinical leaders; proactive resolution of care concerns; and sustained improvements in quality and compliance.

What You Bring

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.


• At least two years of experience in a regional clinical leadership role; assisted living experience strongly preferred.


• Strong knowledge of assisted living regulations and compliance standards.


• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing clinical leaders.


• Sound clinical judgment and the ability to translate findings into practical action plans.


• Clear communication skills and confidence providing constructive feedback.


• A collaborative approach and strong follow‑through.


• Current CPR and First Aid certifications and required TB screening.


• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of automobile insurance.


• Ability to travel regularly to assigned communities, including overnight travel.
