Regional Director of Clinical Operations (RN) - Hospice
Join us at St. Croix Hospice as a Regional Director of Clinical Operations (RN) based in Indianapolis, IN. We are dedicated to providing empowering hospice care that respects each patient's end-of-life journey.
In this role, the Registered Nurse will:
- Oversee all clinical patient services provided by staff.
- Participate in operational planning and budgeting.
- Guide and support clinical staff to improve hospice care quality.
- Assist in managing clinical teams and planning with the Manager of Clinical Services.
- Evaluate patient and family care, and assist with assessments and planning.
- Help prepare and manage the organization's budget.
- Monitor operational indicators to anticipate staffing and resource needs.
- Evaluate and support clinical staff performance and development.
- Manage hiring, evaluations, and terminations of personnel.
- Ensure proper maintenance of patient records and compliance with laws.
- Maintain inventory supplies and equipment.
- Develop and oversee orientation and ongoing education programs for staff.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to ensure quality and safety.
- Contribute to organizational goals and policies.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and certification standards, including CHAP standards.
- Stay informed on developments in nursing and hospice care.
- Promote hospice services within the healthcare community.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Clinical Officer.

Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in Indiana
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred
- Hospice and management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
