Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking a Regional Director of Academics in Cincinnati, OH to lead professional development, coach Directors of Academics, and raise student achievement across a network of schools.

You will analyze data, guide instructional strategies, and collaborate with regional teams to align district goals and curricular coaching. This role emphasizes data-driven decision making and ongoing staff development to improve classroom practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Ohio teaching credential authorizing services in the area of responsibility.
• Experience in differentiated instruction in a standards-based curriculum.
• Required training and certification for the content area(s).
• Minimum 3 or more years of successful Instructional leadership.
• Evidence of leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and/or deliver required Director of Academics professional development.
• Analyze student data to identify needs and organize problem-solving actions with teachers.
• Supervise Directors of Academics and support for teachers.
• Monitor instructional effectiveness and student progress.
• Collaborate with other Regional Directors of Academics and regional teams to align goals.
• Assist in district-wide diagnostic and benchmark development.
• Provide professional development for Directors of Academics to support curriculum and instruction.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
