Job summary

Huntress is seeking a seasoned leader to own the North American Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting operations. You will drive regional strategy, oversee a growing team of technical practitioners, and partner with Product and Engineering to deliver scalable defense for our NA region.

You will report to the DE&TH Director and maintain autonomy to shape the regional roadmap while ensuring alignment with global standards. This role is remote-first with a focus on the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading technical security teams (Detection Eng, Hunting, IR).
• Experience managing distributed or remote teams.
• Ability to run a region as a business unit with global standards.

Responsibilities

• Regional Operational Leadership: Own NA DE&TH mission and translate global goals into regional roadmaps.
• Team Scaling & Talent Strategy: Manage and grow the regional team, handle hiring, capacity, and performance; mentor senior staff.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Security leaders.
• Global Collaboration: Align with EMEA/APAC to ensure standards and knowledge sharing.
• Incident Command: Act as the senior leader for NA DE&TH during business hours; provide strategic direction during incidents.
• Efficacy & Accountability: Track KPIs and drive improvements when metrics diverge from standards.
