Huntress, a remote-first cybersecurity company, seeks an experienced leader to own the strategy, execution, and growth of the North American Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting operations. You will align with the DE&TH Director on the 18-month vision while driving regional tempo.

You will supervise a team of practitioners, manage hiring and budgeting, and partner with Product and Engineering to mature our hunt-to-detect portfolio.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience leading technical security teams (Detection Engineering, Hunting, or IR).
• Experience managing distributed or remote teams.
• Strategic mindset balancing local autonomy with global alignment.
• Strong advocacy and communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Regional Operational Leadership: Own the execution of the DE&TH mission for the North America region, translating global goals into regional roadmaps.
• Team Scaling & Talent Strategy: Manage the region’s staffing, capacity modeling, and performance management, mentoring senior practitioners.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Strategize with Product, Engineering, and Security.
• Global Collaboration: Partner with regional managers in EMEA/APAC to ensure consistent standards and knowledge sharing.
• Incident Command: Lead DE&TH during North American business hours and coordinate during high‑impact events.
• Efficacy & Accountability: Track KPIs and drive improvements when metrics deviate.
