Job summary

Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois is seeking a Regional Director to lead a team delivering child welfare services across Illinois. The role reports to the AVP of Strategy & Organizational Excellence and Privacy Officer, with responsibilities spanning supervision, program quality, and community partnerships.

The position requires MSW or related master’s degree, at least five years of relevant experience, three years of supervisory leadership, and IL CWEL licensure.

Qualifications

• MSW or related Master’s degree; minimum 5 years in related field.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in child and family services.
• IL CWEL license required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of managers, supervisors and direct service staff to ensure safety, permanency and well‑being outcomes for children and families.
• Oversee home-based, foster care and related services; manage staffing and service delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve quality, processes and program outcomes.
• Represent the program vision to partners, expand opportunities and ensure agency visibility and resource allocation.
