Job summary

World Relief in Chicago is seeking a Regional Adult Education Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight of adult education, family literacy, and support services for immigrant and refugee learners across Chicagoland. This role directs vision, growth, quality, compliance, and sustainability.

Hybrid work arrangement with four days onsite and one day remote, and collaboration with employers, colleges, and community partners to advance learner outcomes and economic mobility.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in TESOL, training & development, instructional design, or related field.
• Experience coaching and supervising staff; program or project management background.
• Strong computer skills with Word and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Chicagoland Adult Education across multiple sites.
• Ensure program quality, compliance, and grant performance.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, and partnerships with colleges and employers.
• Lead innovation in digital literacy, distance learning, and AI integration.
• Serve as liaison with the Chicagoland Leadership Team and funders.
