Job summary

JANI-KING's Regional Office in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead a small team and grow the local client base across industries including hotels, restaurants, offices, healthcare and government.

The successful candidate will have 5–7 years of sales or leadership experience, strong prospecting and presentation skills, and a proven ability to build relationships, coach staff, and meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

Our Regional Office in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an experienced candidate who possesses a successful track record of 𝟓-𝟕 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 and/or in leading and managing systems and developing personnel. To be successful in this position, one must have strong leadership abilities, solid cold-calling (B2B) and networking experience, and impressive presentation skills.

The Regional Director's primary responsibilities are to increase the client base within the Columbus, OH region through generating new account sales in a wide variety of industries including: Hotel, Resort, Restaurant, Retail, General Office, Bank, Healthcare, Education, Religious Organizations, Event, Stadium and Government; and lead and motivate an office staff of less than 10 employees.

If you possess solid sales experience, the proven ability to work effectively with a team while leading by example, strong verbal and written communication skills, and are detail-oriented and well organized, then we want to hear from you.

• The ability to adapt sales strategies to current sales trends, market demands and company goals
• The ability to manage and inspire a team while promoting a harmonious work environment
• Must be able to build, expand and solidify professional relationships with new and existing clients
• 5-7 years experience in Sales and/or in leading and managing systems and developing personnel
• Proven sales success record in meeting or exceeding organizational goals
• Proficient in Microsoft office software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Janitorial/Commercial Cleaning industry experience and/or Military experience a plus but not required
