Job summary

Hill Valley Healthcare is seeking a Regional Dietary Services Manager to lead dietary operations across multiple SNFs on the West Coast. You will partner with facility leadership to ensure compliance, quality dining, and resident-focused service, while developing regional strategies and standardizing best practices.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory know-how, and hands-on coaching to elevate dining experiences and clinical outcomes across facilities.

Qualifications

• Multi-site or regional dietary leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of healthcare dietary operations, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with survey readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze operations and implement sustainable improvements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional oversight and support to Dietary Managers and facility dining teams.
• Conduct routine facility visits, audits, and operational reviews.
• Ensure dietary departments meet CMS, state, federal, and local regulations.
• Support facilities in survey preparations and plans of correction when needed.
• Monitor sanitation, food safety, kitchen operations, meal service, and documentation.
• Review menus and meal-service practices to address resident needs and preferences.
• Partner with Registered Dietitians, Nursing, Administrators, and interdisciplinary teams on resident nutrition.
