Job summary

The Northern Kentucky Area Development District (NKADD) in Florence, KY seeks an Executive Director to lead the organization and advance its mission across Aging, Community Development, Human Services, and Workforce Development. The role oversees staff, engages with partners, and represents NKADD at multiple government levels.

Qualified candidates bring board-level administration experience, grant and budgeting expertise, and a track record of public-sector leadership to drive strategic outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, planning or related field plus five years of related job experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in local or regional government or development administration.
• Experience developing and managing grants and public policy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead NKADD Board of Directors and staff to set strategic direction.
• Represent the NKADD region at regional, state and federal levels.
• Manage and supervise the professional staff of the District.
• Advise the Board and regional leaders on policy and program offerings.
• Build consensus and strong collaboration with member governments and partners.
