The Northern Kentucky Area Development District (NKADD), with headquarters in Florence, Kentucky, seeks qualified candidates for the position of Executive Director.
Located in Northern Kentucky, the NKADD is a collaboration of local leaders and staff educating and empowering communities by implementing quality services through specific areas of expertise in Aging, Community Development, Human Services, and Workforce Development. NKADD serves communities in Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen and Pendleton counties.
The successful candidate will be expected to partner, advise, and lead the NKADD Board of Directors, staff and other regional leaders to enhance the NKADD strategic direction, focus, and offerings on important public policy issues affecting the region and its member governments. The position serves as the District’s representative at the regional, state and federal level, and is responsible for managing and supervising the professional staff of the District.
Interested candidates that have minimum qualifications of a bachelor's degree in public administration, planning or related field plus five (5) years minimum related job experience, and, demonstrated leadership experience in local/regional government or development administration;
This executive position offers a competitive compensation range of $130,000–$155,000, commensurate with qualifications, leadership experience, and demonstrated expertise. NKADD also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance; participation in the state retirement system with a generous employer match; vacation and sick leave; and paid holidays.
