Job summary

LANXESS is seeking a Regional Demand and Supply Planner to manage regional demand/supply planning, coordinate IBP activities, and lead cross-functional reviews. The role requires collaboration with Operations, Procurement, Product Management and Finance, and travels between sites as needed.

The position is hybrid with on-site presence in the New Jersey region. Applicants should have a BS in a relevant field and at least five years in advanced planning, with strong SAP IBP/PTM/OTC knowledge and

Qualifications

• BS degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Sciences.
• Minimum five years of experience in advanced demand/supply planning.
• Strong knowledge of SAP IBP, SAP PTM, and OTC; MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain regional supply plans balancing production, suppliers, demand risks, costs, and working capital.
• Maintain regional demand plan in SAP IBP and contribute to monthly Demand Review with cross-functional teams.
• Lead Regional Supply Review meetings and drive alignment across functions; address underperformance with corrective actions.
• Align demand, supply, and inventory plans with business and finance in IBP.
• Resolve supply issues with operations and product management; inform customer service and sales.
• Coordinate with regional Supply Chain Managers and schedulers for local production scheduling and adherence.
