Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture seeks a Regional Delivery Director for the Midwest to drive delivery operations and customer experience across a network of stores, distribution centers, and third-party carriers.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage P&L impacts, and optimize routing and depot performance while maintaining The Bob’s Way culture and a strong focus on cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 15 years of equivalent experience in transportation logistics or multi-unit management.
• 7+ years in logistics management with demonstrated continuous improvement.
• 7+ years in multi-unit retail leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams across multiple sites to meet financial, operational, and customer targets.
• Collaborate with Store Ops, DC Ops, Inventory Control, and cross-functional partners to optimize delivery operations.
• Oversee 200+ daily routes and $750M in delivered sales volume while ensuring safety and service quality.
• Travel approximately 50% to support field and office activities.

This role oversees a portfolio primarily made up of Third-Party Logistic (3PL) carriers and supports the market of stores indirectly through delivery operations. Acting as both liaison and subject matter expert, the Regional Delivery Director collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Store Operations, DC Operations, Inventory Control, and more.This leader is accountable for meeting and exceeding financial, operational, and customer experience targets, while managing and improving people and processes.
