Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Regional Design Manager to lead regional design activities for data center projects. You will drive design delivery, establish procedures, and work with Architects, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Security engineers across AWS.

You will influence stakeholders and ensure quality, safety, and cost goals while coordinating with external partners. You will mentor teams, manage design changes, and help optimize global design standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial or commercial engineering for mission critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to deliver DC designs on time and within budget.
• Influence internal stakeholders and external consultants.
• Manage escalations and design changes.
• Collaborate with AHJs and procurement.
• Track metrics on schedule, cost, quality.
• Mentor team on design standards.
• Travel for site assessments up to 25%.
