Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3+, 5+, or 7+ years providing cultural/linguistic support to US military operations or USG.
• Language proficiency test scores at least 4/4/4 in relevant languages.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Iranian culture, politics, and regional dynamics.
• U.S. passport with at least one year remaining.

Responsibilities

• Advise operational planners on Iranian culture, politics, social media, influence, religious and ethnic groups.
• Support OIE and IW planning by assessing cultural resonance and risks.
• Translate, interpret, transcribe, and analyze materials including reports, data, and media.
• Advise on population demographics and behavioral drivers for campaigns.
• Incorporate cultural insights into operational assessments and planning.
• Support key leader engagement activities.
• Research source-language materials and produce command-level products.
• Monitor traditional, digital, and social media for trends and narratives.
• Analyze key actors and informal influence structures to identify cultural pathways.
