Job summary

Sonida Senior Living is seeking a Regional Director of Culinary Experience to lead dining programs across multiple senior living communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. You will drive high-quality resident dining experiences, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with culinary teams to elevate menus, nutrition, and hospitality while aligning with the company's standards.

The role requires extensive leadership, budget oversight, and national travel up to 80% to support operations,

Qualifications

• Requires Associate or Bachelor's degree in Culinary arts, Food Science, or Hospitality.
• Active CEC (ACF) Certification is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of dining/culinary leadership experience; regional chef experience required.
• Knowledge of dietary guidelines for older adults and health regulations.
• ServSafe Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining services operations across multiple communities in the region.
• Coach and evaluate community-level dining leaders; conduct site visits.
• Ensure menus meet resident needs and regulatory requirements; drive hospitality.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and implement improvements; collaborate with care teams.
• Manage regional dining budgets, food costs, labor; drive cost-control without sacrificing quality.
