Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Regional Counsel supporting the Northeast region, based in Baltimore. You will identify and communicate complex legal risks to enable informed decision-making while safeguarding organizational interests, and provide strategic guidance to leadership and cross-functional teams on legal and contractual matters.

You will oversee end-to-end resolution of risk-related disputes, guide risk mitigation, and help embed risk practices across business processes.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) required.
• 6–8 years of risk management or legal counsel experience.
• Experience in both law firm and in-house preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors significant risks and aligns with risk appetite.
• Advises leadership on risk impact and mitigation plans.
• Leads resolution of standard and complex risk issues with stakeholders.
• Implements risk management policies, guidance, and training.
• Mentors others on risk identification and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to embed risk practices.
• Reviews contracts and advises on rights, obligations and risks.
