Job summary

SEi in Omaha, NE seeks a seasoned Controller to manage financial performance and job cost management for the regional Hub of Zeus Fire and Security. The role supervises local accounting, billing, payables and collections, and leads accurate financial reporting.

The successful candidate will drive month-end close, support budgeting and forecasting, and guide process modernization with strong internal controls in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting and strong GAAP knowledge.
• CPA preferred; 7+ years in accounting/finance with 3+ in management.
• Experience modernizing processes and implementing ERP is a plus.
• Ability to lead and influence in a matrix organization with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash management, A/R, A/P, inventory, accruals, project reporting and revenue recognition.
• Lead month-end close and management discussion & analysis with variance trends.
• Manage job cost accounting: project setup, billing, rate changes, change orders, budget-to-actual.
• Prepare operational metrics and dashboards; drive continuous improvement.
• Support regional budgeting/forecasting and acquisitions/infills integration.
