Job Details

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Controller to join their dynamic team. This role is responsible for leading corporate accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with GAAP. Key duties include managing the monthly close process, preparing audit materials, maintaining policy compliance, overseeing account reconciliations, and supporting tax filings. The position requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sage Intacct. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is required, with 8+ years of supervisory experience in finance/accounting; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all regional financial operations including but not limited to monthly reporting, entries, ledger, income statement, financials, monthly cash flow, and annual budget.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and forecasts to support the company\'s growth and profitability objectives.
  • Coordinate with the finance team and other relevant departments for budgeting, financial planning, and analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to the management team.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Provide financial expertise and support to operational teams, and collaborate with them to drive financial performance.
  • Participate in strategic planning, risk management, and decision-making at the regional and company level.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (such as CPA, CMA, or CFA) will be a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with monthly reporting, entries, ledger, income statement, financials, monthly cash flow, and annual budget.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
