Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Controller to join our fast-paced and rapidly growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a challenging and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company’s financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. This role also involves investment analysis, requiring at least 5 years of experience in this field.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all company accounts and investments.
  • Supervise, track, and evaluate day-to-day activities.
  • Develop and maintain internal control and guidelines for financial transactions and budget preparation.
  • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting materials for all donor segments.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors; assess any changes necessary.
  • Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status.
  • Implement a robust contracts management and financial management/reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.
  • Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department’s overall policy and procedure manual.
  • Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the board of directors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or related certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a focus on investment analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using financial management software.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
