Job summary

Our client, a $200M PE-owned industrial services company, seeks a Regional Controller to lead regional close and oversee GAAP reporting. This role will drive accounting for key balance sheet areas and ensure policy consistency across East Hub brands, while guiding tax compliance and multi-entity governance.

The position is fully remote with rare travel and includes responsibility for integration of acquisitions and ERP implementations, plus overseeing a small accounting team as the company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license is required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience leading multi-entity or multi-site organizations.
• Public accounting experience is a must.
• ERP implementations, migrations, or system conversions; Acumatica experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the region.
• Oversee GAAP financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and close workpapers.
• Provide accounting oversight for revenue recognition, inventory, accruals, fixed assets, and reserves.
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and EBITDA add-back classifications.
• coordinate with external auditors for annual audit and oversee internal controls.
• Oversee state and local tax compliance including sales/use tax and licenses.
• Lead accounting and finance integration of new acquisitions and ERP implementations.
• Manage a small staff and grow the team as the company expands.

Our client, a $200M private-equity owned industrial services company, is a seeking a Regional Controller to oversee the region’s accounting and also play a key role in integrating new acquisitions. This is a fully remote position with very occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for the region.
• Oversee preparation and review of GAAP financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries, and close workpapers for corporate consolidation.
• Provide accounting oversight for key areas including revenue recognition, inventory, accruals, fixed assets, reserves, and other significant balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and EBITDA add-back classifications across East Hub brands.
• Work with external auditors for the annual audit, overseeing internal controls and PBC schedules.
• Oversee state and local tax compliance, including sales and use tax, business licenses, personal property, gross receipts, and other applicable filings and obligations.
• Lead the accounting and finance integration of new acquisitions and serve as the finance lead for ERP implementations.
• Manage a small staff and continue to build a team as the company grows. .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Public accounting experience is a MUST
• Active CPA license
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience leading a multi-entity or multi-site organization
• Private equity experience is a plus
• Experience with ERP implementations, migrations, or system conversions; Acumatica experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively partner with both operational and corporate stakeholders.
