Job summary

A-Gas in the Americas is seeking a Regional Continuous Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence at the Rhome, TX site. You will lead CI initiatives across production, cylinder processing, reclamation, and laboratory operations, partnering with site leadership and frontline teams to embed continuous improvement into daily routines and decision making.

Your role will focus on eliminating bottlenecks, increasing throughput, reducing waste, and delivering measurable safety and cost

Qualifications

• Experience in continuous improvement within manufacturing or chemical plant
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years experience in lieu of degree
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence tools
• Proven ability to deliver measurable improvements in safety, productivity, and cost
• Data-driven problem solver with analytical skills
• Excellent communicator with ability to influence frontline teams and leadership

Responsibilities

• Translate priorities into floor-level improvement initiatives
• Lead CI efforts across production, filling, cylinder processing, reclamation, and lab
• Ensure initiatives meet safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Identify bottlenecks and improve throughput and labor productivity
• Optimize material flow, scheduling, and asset utilization
• Embed safety-first mindset and support incident investigations
• Implement standard work and daily management systems
• Lead root-cause analysis and Kaizen projects
• Deliver cost savings through improved cylinder lifecycle management
• Coach teams in Lean, Six Sigma, CI tools
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain
