Job Details
As the Regional Consulting Engineer, you will be responsible for providing quality service in the areas of consulting, restoration, and salvage for insurance losses involving technical equipment. You will utilize your expertise to perform field investigations, subsequent research, and summarize all findings in a report for the client.
Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize technical expertise for independent and collaborative analysis as well as guiding support colleagues, ensuring all findings are appropriately documented and delivered to the client.
Manage vendors/subcontractors needed to complete the project.
Conduct research on the systems, determining availability and pricing of components.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors to secure necessary materials and services as appropriate.
Conduct equipment troubleshooting and evaluation to determine repair/refurbish/replace determination.
Establishing the cause of equipment damage, such as water damage, lightning damage, power surge, etc.
Claims may be related to all types of electronic equipment, including computer networks, medical technology, industrial machinery, telecommunications infrastructure, and manufacturing equipment.
May be asked to complete other work or projects for the company as determined by management.
