Job summary

Medcor Safety, a subsidiary of Medcor, seeks a Safety Professional to oversee regional underground utility installation safety in Auburn, MA. The role involves auditing field crews, enforcing safety programs, and coordinating with management to mitigate hazards.

This temporary assignment covers Western Massachusetts, 40–50 hours per week, with local per diem. Start ASAP and duration 1–3 months. CPR/First Aid and OSHA 30 are required; CHST/OSHA 500 preferred.

Qualifications

• Develop professional relationships with field personnel and management.
• Audit crews to identify unsafe conditions and promote safe practices.
• Document and communicate site audit results clearly.
• Review and audit training records of field personnel.
• Implement federal, local, and site safety programs and procedures.
• Participate in accident briefs, bulletins, and reports.
• Contribute to Site-Specific Safety Plans and safety meetings.
• Ensure compliance with client/owner requirements.

Responsibilities
