Job summary

Lochridge-Priest, Inc. is seeking a Regional Safety Director to lead health and safety programs across our Central Texas region.

You will provide hands-on safety leadership for construction projects, service operations, fabrication activities, and other company operations within the region. The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, field leadership, and a proactive approach to hazard identification and risk reduction across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Safety Management, or related field.
• (minimum) 5 years of progressive construction safety experience.
• Experience leading safety across multiple projects and locations.
• OSHA 500/510 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of health and safety programs throughout the assigned region.
• Lead the implementation of safety initiatives, policies, and expectations within the region.
• Ensure regional operations comply with OSHA regulations and client requirements.
• Serve as the primary safety leader for offices, jobsites, and field operations.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with project teams to identify hazards and mitigate risk.
• Review JHAs, pre-task planning, and site-specific safety plans.
• Coordinate safety training, toolbox talks, and orientations.
• Travel regularly to project locations to support safety leadership.
• Develop and implement emergency response procedures for locations and projects.
