Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Regional Safety Advisor I to oversee safety for construction projects in the Auburn, MA region. The role is about 80% field-based with 20% office work, visiting five to eight sites weekly and addressing hazards such as traffic, trenches, and fall exposure.

You will coach field teams, reinforce safe practices, and collaborate to resolve safety concerns through teamwork. A Bachelor's in Safety or related field plus 1–2 years of construction safety experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or a closely related field or near completion.
• 1–2 years of construction safety experience.
• Understanding of common construction hazards and controls.
• Ability to work with field personnel and project leadership.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide field safety support across multiple active construction projects.
• Identify hazards related to traffic, excavation, trenching, shoring, fall exposure, and PPE.
• Coach employees and project teams on safe work practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with field personnel and leadership.
• Conduct routine site visits, observations, and safety follow-ups.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective-action discussions.
• Prepare safety reports and documentation.
• Collaborate during meetings and planning activities to support safety.
• Ensure consistent implementation of company safety expectations.
