Qualifications

• Notes: substitutions allowed for education/experience; PE in MD or equivalent may satisfy education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Regional Construction Engineer representing the Administrator and Chief Engineer in managing the Highway Construction Program.
• Ensure quality assurance/quality control on statewide construction projects and compliance with federal programs.
• Plan through design and construction phases, maintaining proficiency in modern construction practices and field mentoring.
• Promote collaboration across the department and continuous improvement of project delivery and field staff training.
