UN Women is seeking a Communications Analyst to support planning and execution of external communications and advocacy in the Western Balkans region, with a focus on EU4GE EVAW and WEE initiatives. The role involves collaboration with regional teams, UN partners and donors to raise visibility and impact.

The incumbent will draft materials, monitor media, and organize events, while ensuring adherence to corporate policies and gender perspectives across all communications activities.

Formación

• Master’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field is required.
• Two additional years of qualifying experience may substitute for the advanced degree.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning and implementing external communication and outreach/advocacy strategies.
• Monitor media coverage and provide analysis to regional offices; support media relations.
• Draft briefing materials and press releases; coordinate dissemination through channels.
• Coordinate translation/rewriting of information for publications and AV materials.
• Organize events and roundtables to raise donor visibility and public awareness.
