Job description

BGIS is currently seeking a Regional Commissioning Manager to join the team Remotely in the US.

Responsibilities:

People Management

• Guide the development of individual goals for team members and conduct performance reviews for direct reports.
• Provide supervision, mentorship, and motivation to assigned team members.
• Support the sales team by attending meetings, delivering presentations, or providing commissioning information/examples as requested.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and HR to maintain staffing levels.
• Contribute to other key initiatives as assigned.

Project Management

• Develop, manage, and implement commissioning and existing building commissioning procedures for internal and external clients.
• Define labor plans, equipment requirements, set milestones, and provide documentation for accounting purposes.
• Lead selected projects, including owner direct negotiated commissioning and existing building commissioning projects.
• Oversee commissioning backlog and labor requirements.
• Work with senior engineers and leads to develop commissioning teams for all projects.
• Assist with issue resolution when appropriate.
• Ensure backlog and estimates are complete, current, and shared with relevant team members.
• Provide project budgets and scope definitions.
• Review project progress, estimates, margin opportunities, issue logs, and delays with relevant engineers and leads.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7 years of industry experience in electrical power distribution, mechanical systems, or both, with an AA degree, military training, or equivalent work experience.
• At least four years of management experience.
• Ten years of experience in commissioning services.
• Proven proficiency in the responsibilities of a Commissioning Program Manager.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate company vision and motivate teams.
• PE registration preferred.
• BCA CCP or ACG CxA, QCxP registration preferred.
• LEED AP preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio).

We offer competitive pay ranges based on geographic location, with the salary for this position in the US between $110,000 and $130,000, determined by experience, skills, and other factors.
