Job summary

Accela Healthcare is seeking a Regional Commercial HVAC Technician to support multiple facilities across New Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia area, maintaining critical HVAC systems to keep residents comfortable and facilities operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of commercial HVAC experience, EPA 608 Universal Certification, and a valid driver’s license.

You will service RTUs, split and package units, air handlers, heat pumps, and chillers, performing

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to climb ladders and work safely at heights.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities
• Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, air handlers, heat pumps, exhaust systems, and make-up air units
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance
• Respond to emergency HVAC service calls as needed
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Work closely with Regional Maintenance Directors and facility leadership
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable safety regulations
