Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Commercial Roofing Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial/industrial roofing projects. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across assigned projects.

The role requires strong communication, planning, and oversight of project specifications, with frequent collaboration with project managers, field personnel, and customers. Travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing commercial and industrial roofing construction projects.
• Ability to lead field crews and subcontractors, delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, construction practices, scheduling, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and manage subcontractors to support project execution.
• Oversee all phases of assigned projects to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule and budget.
• Interpret and implement project administration requirements, contract specifications, and company standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Monitor progress and resolve scheduling, quality, or operational challenges.
• Coordinate field inspections and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, project specs, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary field liaison between subcontractors, customers, owners, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and provide project status reports and updates to management and customers.
• Foster strong customer relationships and promote safety culture.
