Job summary

Accela Healthcare is seeking a Regional Commercial HVAC Technician to support multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities across New Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia area. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems across sites.

This role requires hands-on expertise with RTUs, split systems, package units, air handlers, heat pumps, and related systems, plus EPA 608 certification and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Service proficiency with RTUs, split systems, package units, air handlers, heat pumps, and exhaust/make-up air.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Willingness to participate in emergency after-hours calls.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities.
• Service rooftop units, split systems, package units, air handlers, heat pumps, exhaust and make-up air.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize performance.
• Respond to emergency HVAC service calls as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Coordinate with Regional Maintenance Directors and facility leadership.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA safety compliance.
